For guests, visiting on weekends, the Magic Castle offers guidance and assistance from the Castle Knights. The Castle Knights are a group of volunteer members who offer assistance in planning and learning about the Magic Castle during your visit. Castle Knights can be found in the Grand Salon as they greet guests upon their entrance. They provide tours and anecdotes to all visitors to the Magic Castle. Tours begin at 5:00PM.
Your night at the Magic Castle would not be complete without magic! The Magic Castle hosts five different magic shows in three showrooms (the schedule of performers for the next six weeks is available here).
- The Close-up Gallery presents masters of the art of close-up magic, in the smallest of the Castle theaters (seating only 22 guests). Two different performers appear in the Close-up Gallery: the first at 7:00 then as required, and the second at 10:00, then as required. Because of the size of this theater, we recommend that you get in line at least one-half hour before your desired show.
- The Parlour of Prestidigitation recreates the Victorian experience of the "parlour" (living room) magician. Your magician will appear at 7:30, 8:45, 9:30, 10:30, 11:30 and 12:00 p.m.
- The Palace of Mystery hosts grand illusion and other stage performers. One show is presented in the Palace at three different times: 8:30, 10:00, and 11:15. Dinner guests have preferential seating in the Palace of Mystery.
Please see one of the Magic Castle's managers if you have any questions regarding performances, show times, or seating policies.

Evening performances at the Hollywood Bowl or the Kodak Theater mean increased traffic on Highland, which can significantly affect your travel time to the Magic Castle. We recommend that you check the schedule for the Bowl and the Kodak when planning your drive time
to the Magic Castle. On heavy-traffic nights, you might consider ridesharing; the more adventurous may enjoy the MTA's Red Line, with a rail stop a few short blocks from the Castle at Hollywood and Highland.
