“Tricks of the Trade” – For Professional Family Entertainers Dan Jordan has been a professional family entertainer for about two decades and in his lecture “Tricks of the Trade” you will learn the top tricks Dan performs, what it takes to satisfy your clients, and how to set yourself apart from the rest of the magicians in this field. The AMA Board of Trustees present: Mike Gallo Special lecture
Mike Gallo has created some of the most unique and original coin sleights and effects, with a couple of card tricks thrown in for good measure. He has updated the classic coin effects, such as “Coins & Cylinder” to “Coins thru Table.” Mike is in the forefront of contemporary coin magic. Along with Roth and Rubenstein, is part of the New York Coin Magic Seminar DVD series. He’s only in town one day and wants to lecture for the AMA. This lecture will take place in the Hat and Hare on Tuesday, August 3rd at 8:00 PM. This event is only five dollars and includes a set of notes with two effects fully explained. Rey Ben is known worldwide as being one of Argentina’s most creative minds. For his lecture he will present his own material as well as material of other inventors that he greatly improved. His magic, mostly Parlour style, is very visual, easy to do, and great to attain a “real magic” effect. Rey Ben and his partner, Quique Marduk appears in The Palace of Mystery for Argentina Week, August 9-15th. Rey Ben will lecture from 3-4pm in the Parlour of Prestiigitation.

Quique Marduk
Quique Marduk is appearing in the Palace of Mystery, August 9-15th for Argentina Week, with his partner, Rey Ben, in "One & a Half". Quique Marduk will present a series of Russian roulettes he designed using different materials, including an egg, a water gun, an insect, and knives. His entire routine can be presented for adult audiences, as well as for some children. This lectures will be in the Parlour Of Presidigitation from 4-5pm.

He also shares key presentational tips and psychological touches taught to him by his mentors Tony Slydini and Channing Pollock, while demonstrating staging techniques designed to expand the visual impact of anyone’s magic.
